About Water First

Drink up!  Drinking more water is one of the simplest things you can do to be healthier. 

Think Your Drink.  There are 1000's of sugary drinks on the market and we're drinking too many of them.  These drinks are the largest source of empty calories in the American diet and they're causing us to pour on the pounds. 

It's time to put water first and let the sweet drinks take a back seat. And we're here to help make it fun and easy.

Here's how it works. 

  • Drink Calculator  See the the sugar, calories and caffeine in what you're drinking.  This gives you a quick look that won't be saved. 
  • Take the Plunge It just takes a minute to sign up. Once you do you'll have access to My H2OMy H2O allows you to use the Drink Journal,  Hydro Me character and sign up for reminders. It also gives you the ability to link to your child's account (if you're a parent) and enter our Great Wolf Lodge contest.
  • Drink Journal lets you log what you drink from day to day. See it in a journal or a graph.
  • Hydro Me is a customized virtual character that gives kids a fun way to see the effects of drinking water vs sugary stuff (and try out purple hair!).  
  • Stuff for Parents, Stuff for Kids, and You Can Do It have helpful info to make the transition.
  • Stay on track. We all need a nudge sometimes. Sign up for reminders.
  • Win a trip to the Great Wolfe Lodge. Families with children are eligible for our grand prize drawing.
